Incredibly well argued video about internet fame. I only saw it because ‘Notch’ mentioned it in his letter about quitting Mojang.
Watch this! Especially you trolls!
Charts from OKCupid, showing how straight women and men rate each other based on ages. For women, the men they find most attractive are roughly their own age. For men, the women they find most attractive are roughly the same age - 20 to 23 - regardless of the age of the man. (538)
Remember that this data is pulled from OKCupid, i.e. 50-year-old men who are (presumably) still unattached. The thing is, you have to think to yourself: would the kind of person who still wants to date 20-year-olds at the age of 50 likely have found a partner at that point? In other words, this data is not (necessarily) representative of men overall, just 50-year-old creeps who think they have a shot in hell with a 20-year-old.
Basically, my point is “NOT ALL MEN!!!!™" But maybe all men. Someone should find a sample that draws from the broader population, so we can know, for science, if men are actually creeps.
Yea, like I’m pretty sure the average 50 year old man can manage to look at a 25 year old girl without projectile vomiting like 4 out of 10 times. We need better science here. Men are coming off slightly more creepy than is accurate and fair.
I agree. That data is not saying much. I am only 35 and wouldn’t date a 20 year old. And most of the men I know wouldn’t.

“And then there was a voice, a clear, female voice, which said ‘Ow,’ and then, very quietly, it said ‘Fuck,’ and then it said ‘Ow,’ once more.”

My secret little Fuck.
So, so cool.
That was also my favorite pert of Stardust.
